Long time, no see!
That has its explanation, though: Summer holiday. Which equals laziness and a lower frequence of adventures than normally in my terribly irresponsible, egoistic and free life.

Because summer holiday isn't what it used to be. Reasons: I am getting older (read: responsibility, which means working and earning money instead of having fun) and that the weather is getting worse every year.
Two endless months of sun and travelling and swimming and playing football are now replaced with long days in front of a big Mac in an office, outlooking a gray fjord and heavy, rainy clouds. I have worked for two and a half months in Ryfylke, the local newspaper. It is a good job with cool colleagues, but the work often turns out really monotone in the summer months. 4 700 inhabitants and half of them away on holiday, everything closed for the summer, one newspaper a week. It isn't exactly like working in the New York Times.
Well, I have earned and saved the money I need for my stay at Ry Folk High School next year, so my mission is accomplished for now.
This is one of the things I've been writing about; recipes!
A few things actually happened during these very wet summer months;
I helped my sister renovating their new old house:
I helped my sister renovating their new old house:
Handywoman Julie in action!
I went hiking one of the few really summery days:
Oh yeah! 930 meters above the ocean surface.
The camera in my iPhone keeps impressing me. Nice place when sunny, isn't it?
I turned twenty:
Nasty pose, but the crown was nice! And green!
... and celebrated it four times with different people. I like that:)
It rained:
View from my office. Oh, joyful place
And it was sunny:
... once in a while.
On the other hand, when it IS sunny, there is no nicer place. Walk around the lake near my house at 7 o'clock in the morning.

Summer! Sweeeeet!
I participated in the rose procession after 22nd of July:
Goosebumps. 2 000 showed up. That is almost half the population in Sauda. Incredible.
I picked blueberries:
Blueberrypicker
I went on a horrible diet for one week:
Now it looks good, but at that moment, I could kill for that pizza and beer instead of pork, cucumber and tomato.
I was sober on a really drunk party:
Quite an experience.
I went to Denmark to a family meeting:
We share genes. I didn't know almost any of those, but they turned out to be really cool.
I helped collecting sheep in the mountain:
Those small white dots took us around five hours of running up and down the mountainsides to gather.
Stupid creatures. Really, really stupid.
I finally got my knee operated!!
Three months of waiting and travelling back an forth to Haugesund (2,5 hours in bus each way) for checks. Here I was still drugged:
Being drugged doesn't keep me from forgetting taking pictures of myself.
AND
I participated in the Tall Ships' Races 2011:
Me and some other volunteers on board of Sedov, the biggest tall ship in the world. The very Russian looking man is Russian and captain on the ship.
Nicest view I've ever seen! No, it's not photoshopped.
This last point totally beats everything else on the list so hard that it won't remember anything if it ever wakes up again.
I will even dedicate the whole next update to TSR, because it is of big importance for me and my future (read: next two months).
