My pursuit of happiness

Two nice things in one day

Funny how you learn to appreciate small things, if you only get them rarely. Today has been the first day of sunshine this month.
Fascinating how that really affects everything. A few sparse beams of sunlight over this snow covered landscape creates a magical world of blue and gold.
I know I complain about this cold and rough climate, and long for warm, sunny hills and beaches with the loud sound of crickets in the olive trees, but when the weather for once is good, there is no place as beautiful as the mountainy landscape of Norway.

In the radio I just heard that Mubarak has left Kairo and the power over Egypt.

It brings up tears in my eyes to hear about the celebration for freedom after 30 years of a corrupt regime. It's impossible to imagine the feeling of liberty after so many years of suppression. I'm mostly against violence, but this has been a fight that is beautiful to follow. There is nothing as people fighting for their rights, fighting for their lives, fighting for their freedom.
This makes my belief in the will and mind of the average world citizen grow even stronger. Nothing is impossible if you just fight for it.
Justice will come.
